Transport Co-ordinator

John Cinnamond

How long have you been working at Pegasus?

I started in May 2020

What do you do day to day?

Taking orders via telephone and email, liaising with customers, drivers and planning deliveries/collections via our fleet of Tippers, Grabs, Artics and Mix On Site Concrete Volumetric vehicles.

What’s your favourite aspect of working at Pegasus?

My favourite aspect of working at Pegasus is the people. There’s a supportive network and approachable culture, creating a positive and highly collaborative working environment!

Pegasus is known for teamwork. What do you think makes the team click?

Strong communication and mutual respect are what I believe make the team click. Everyone has a willingness to support each other, which enables us to work efficiently and ultimately add real value to our customers.

What do you think makes Pegasus different from other construction/utilities companies in the UK?

With over 25 years of experience in the industry, gained across a diverse range of companies. to me, Pegasus stands out for combining professional standards with a positive, down-to-earth culture.

Our teams maintain strong relationships with our clients and within the communities we operate. This combination enables us to deliver reliable, high-quality services and a personal touch to our partners and their projects.

Who would play you in the movie version of your career?

Ray Winston if Brad Pitt is unavailable.

What song would you choose as the official soundtrack for a day at Pegasus?

That’s a tough one, maybe Don't Stop Me Now' by Queen, or if it’s a Monday, perhaps Livin on a Prayer by Bon Jovi!

If you were put in charge of designing Pegasus’ new office, what’s the first feature you’d add?

A canteen/bar/games room.
