Daniel Joyner
How long have you been working at Pegasus?
Since March 2022
What do you do day to day?
I balance cost control, compliance, and operational processes with a clear focus on keeping our fleet running smoothly and reliably. By working closely with drivers and the wider team, I resolve issues quickly, raise standards, and drive continuous improvement.
Whether that’s refining spend, strengthening vehicle care, or enhancing compliance. I aim to build a more efficient and proactive operation that supports both our people and our performance.
What’s your favourite aspect of working at Pegasus?
The teamwork! No matter what the day throws at us, everyone pulls together. The support we offer each other makes the place feel energised and positive.
Pegasus is known for teamwork. What do you think makes the team click?
The team thrives because everyone knows their work matters in shaping Pegasus. Each person takes ownership, steps forward when challenges arise, and supports one another without hesitation.
Built on trust, respect, and shared purpose, we move forward together while lifting each other. United as a team, we face challenges head-on and turn them into opportunities!
What do you think makes Pegasus different from other construction/utilities companies in the UK
Pegasus stands apart through its hands-on, practical approach and our ability to deliver without unnecessary bureaucracy. We empower people with the support and tools they need to succeed, while a strong team spirit drives efficiency, collaboration, and a genuine sense of belonging.
Who would play you in the movie version of your career?
I’d say Will Ferrell, apparently, I have a bit of a resemblance, though I can’t see it myself! Plus, chaos seems to follow him around, which feels pretty accurate for my day-to-day.
What song would you choose as the official soundtrack for a day at Pegasus?
'Don’t Stop Me Now' by Queen is fast-paced and keeps the energy up, which feels like a typical day at Pegasus!
If you were put in charge of designing Pegasus’ new office, what’s the first feature you’d add?
A bar, pool table and Sky Sports on a 50 inch tv!
