Our state-of-the-art Wash Plant sits at the core of our sustainability strategy and that of our clients. Playing a vital role in our commitment to sustainable construction and advancing the circular economy.
Our advanced facility reduces environmental impact by ensuring all surplus materials generated from our utility and construction projects are carefully recovered, cleaned, and repurposed wherever possible. Instead of being sent to landfill, materials are transformed into high-quality recycled aggregates.
The process begins after we collect construction waste and transport it to our facility, where it then undergoes rigorous processing and stringent quality control. This process allows us to produce recycled aggregates that are compliant with the Environment Agency’s WRAP Quality Protocols.
As a result, they are no longer classified as waste to ensure they meet industry standards for performance and safety. These certified materials are then suitable for reuse across construction and infrastructure projects.
By investing in innovative technology and material recovery, we are actively reducing landfill dependency, conserving natural resources, and fulfilling the environmental responsibilities of modern construction.

Pegasus operates skip hire services that support both construction and domestic clients. All waste collected through these routes is meticulously processed at our dedicated recycling facility to maximise recycling and reuse, ensuring that only the absolute minimum is sent to landfill.
This process is a key element to our wider commitment to environmental responsibility and efficient resource management, helping clients to meet their waste reduction objectives.
Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond waste and material recovery.
We are working to reduce our internal carbon footprint and support clients in reducing theirs.
